Both the Signature Hammock and Hammock Chair are handwoven with our ultra-soft, weathersafe Performance Yarn™. It is a solution-dyed acrylic yarn that is the gold standard for outdoor durability. Our Weightless Weave™ construction combines 150,000 ultra-soft loops to cradle you weightlessly.

The Signature Hammock and Hammock Chair can be used anywhere thanks to our Performance Yarn™. It’s a solution-dyed acrylic that is weathersafe and UV-safe, as well as mold, mildew, and rot-resistant. It’s totally fine to keep hammocks made with this yarn outdoors.

Our hammocks can be hung in a multitude of spaces and can all have their hanging range extended with our 'Go Anywhere' Hammock Straps.

Here are some quick hanging guidelines for our top hammocks:

-Classic Size Signature Hammock (10ft long): Hang ends 8’-11’ apart, around 5’ high.
-Family Size Signature Hammock (11ft long): Hang ends 9’-12’ apart, around 5’ high.
-Chair Hammock (4ft wide x 7ft deep): Hang ends 3’6”-5’ apart, around 5’6”-6’ high (requires overhead hanging setup).

Every Yellow Leaf Hammock comes with a "Hammocking 101" Guidebook with detailed instructions on how and where to hang your hammock.

Since hanging options vary, hardware is not included. However, we do offer versatile tree straps and an adjustable hammock stand!

We recommend handwashing your hammock in cold water using a mild detergent and hanging it spread out to dry. To avoid tangling the ends (the "scale lines"), tie them in big knots.

Our Performance Yarn™ is colorfast, so you don't have to worry about it bleeding. You definitely don't want to put it in the washing machine or the dryer though!

Our interwoven micro-yarns are extremely strong, but you should still practice caution with buckles, zippers, and buttons to prevent holes or tears. For detailed care tips, refer to the Hammocking 101 Guide and care manual included with your purchase.
