For four years my husband has been bugging me to buy furniture for a balcony off of our bedroom. We live in Florida and overlook the intracoastal waterway. I've hesitated due to the salt air which makes comfy cushioned furniture a pain to clean. Recently, we enjoyed our first cruise with Virgin Voyages where our veranda was outfitted with a hammock mounted to the ceiling.

OMG so comfy! The hammock material was soft and the design supportive, allowing us to sit or lie down for hours! It also paired well with champagne. Upon returning home, we decided to try one on the balcony. We opted for the portable " Vista" hanger as we are not allowed to drill into the concrete of our condo building.

The trial was deemed a success and, to preserve marital harmony, we ordered a second hammock and Vista hanger. For the future, we have our eyes on the premium hanger called the "Throne." Supremely stylish, it rotates 360 degrees, allowing us to take in those sunrises and sunsets.
