Drill a hook into a ceiling beam and attach to the loop at the top of your Spread Bar (using a knot or carabiner).

 

Off A Tree Branch

Wrap a rope over your tree branch, then secure the rope to the loop at the top of your Spread Bar (using a knot or carabiner)./p>

 

From An Overhead Beam On Your Patio or Deck

Wrap two ropes around the beam or post and attach each rope to an eye of the hammock (using a knot or carabiner).

 

Using These Techniques With a Spread Bar

All of the above hanging techniques can be used even without a Spread Bar - you’ll just need to have two anchor points instead of one.
