Returns + Exchanges

RELAXATION GUARANTEE

Quality + Craftsmanship are our highest priority. Always have been, always will be.

Our policies are built to reflect the very nature of our products—supportive + stress-free! We value your business and want to ensure that you are completely satisfied with every Yellow Leaf Hammocks product. 

We guarantee our products to be free of defect in material and construction for up to one full year from the date of purchase. 

If an item is found to be defective within that time, Yellow Leaf Hammocks will gladly replace it, repair it or send the appropriate replacement parts at no cost to you. Please note that normal wear + tear, damage from improper use, storage, installation, or maintenance is not covered under this warranty.

STRESS-FREE RETURNS + EXCHANGES

If you aren’t happy, neither are we.  

Our 30-day stress-free return + exchange policy dates from the day you receive your order. 

For orders in the US/Canada, free return shipping is included. If you're not 100% satisfied with your new hammock for any reason, contact our Hammock Concierge (415.545.8501 or concierge[at]yellowleafhammocks.com) and we will cover the cost of a pre-paid return shipping label. To expedite your return or exchange, please retain proof-of-purchase in the form of a receipt or packing slip when contacting our Hammock Concierge.

Please note that returned items will be inspected to determine that they are in unused, resalable condition. If upon inspection the items are deemed in unsalable condition or have been used or altered in any way, your credit or exchange will be subject to approval.

Custom Hammocks:

Please note that custom hammock orders are final. Any requests to return or exchange custom orders are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are subject to approval. If you have a question about a custom hammock, please contact our Hammock Concierge and we will gladly discuss the details of your request!

Domestic Returns Process:

Trying to make a return or exchange can often be a frustrating experience — which is why we try to make the process as smooth as possible.

Please give our Hammock Concierge a call at 415.545.8501, Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm PST, or email us anytime at returns[at]yellowleafhammocks.com.

In your call or email, please share your order number, date of purchase, and any other relevant info and the reason you are returning to us. We would love to know why you are returning the hammock and help troubleshoot any issues you may be experiencing.

Once your return request has been received, we will email you a prepaid return shipping label (this cost is covered by us and will not be deducted your return or exchange).

Simply print the pre-paid label, attach it to the package you will be returning, and drop it off with the specified mailing carrier.

Your refund will be credited to the same method of payment you used to place your order.

All requests for returns/exchanges must be received within 30 days of receiving your hammock.

Domestic Exchange Process:

Please contact our Hammock Concierge team to initiate an exchange.

In your call or email, please share your order number, date of purchase, and any other relevant info and the reason you are returning to us, as well as the product you have selected in exchange. 

Once your exchange request has been received, we will email you a prepaid return shipping label (this cost is covered by us and will not be deducted your return or exchange).

Simply print the pre-paid label, attach it to the package you will be returning, and drop it off with the specified mailing carrier.

If there is a difference in price, we will e-mail you an invoice or credit your original method of payment. 

All requests for returns/exchanges must be received within 30 days of receiving your hammock.

International Returns/Exchanges

To initiate an international return, please give our Hammock Concierge a call at 415.545.8501, Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm PST, or email us anytime at returns[at]yellowleafhammocks.com.

In your call or email, please share your order number, date of purchase, and any other relevant info and the reason you are returning to us. We would love to know why you are returning the hammock and help troubleshoot any issues you may be experiencing.

Unfortunately, we cannot provide pre-paid return labels for international orders at this time.

However, if you choose to exchange your hammock, we will gladly cover all outbound shipping costs for your new hammock.

Purchases through other Retailers

If you purchased a Yellow Leaf Hammocks product through an authorized Yellow Leaf Hammocks retailer, please direct any return or exchange questions to that location/company. Each store has a specified return policy, and it will be handled accordingly depending on their process. Only hammocks purchased directly on our site can be returned directly to us.

 

Q: How long does it take for me to a get a refund?

A: Once we receive your return, please allow up to 7 business days to process your request. When your return has been processed you will receive an email notification that your refund was processed. Depending on your bank, the refund may take an additional 5-7 business days to post to your account.

 

Q: Can I return a gift certificate?

A: Gift certificates are non-refundable and may not be exchanged for cash. Please contact our Hammock Concierge if your gift certificate was lost or stolen certificates.

 

Q: What do I do if I tore a thread in my hammock?

A: Oh no! Nothing's worse than a damaged hammock! Ok, we admit, things could be worse (!), but we feel your heartbreak! Sometimes these things can be repaired and sometimes they can't. Your best bet is to snap a few photos that show what the damage looks like and email your pics + some additional info (how this occurred, if you've attempted to fix it yet, etc.) to info[at]yellowleafhammocks.com. That way, our Hammock Concierge can assess the damage and see how we can help get you back in your Yellow Leaf Hammock asap!

In the meantime, we suggest not using your hammock as a safety precaution and to not cause further damage. Once we receive your inquiry we'll have someone take a look and get back to you within 48 hours.
